Stretch Goal Suggestions
Thanks for your ideas for stretch goals, guys! At the moment, I'm figuring out what will be doable, at what budget and how.
New Backers from News Outlets and AdvertisingHello new backers! News continues to spread! Welcome those of you who found out about this game from gay.net, gamepolitics.com, facebook, twitter, and yaoi911. Yaoi911 is the site of Alex Woolfson's cool graphic novel, Artifice (read it, it's great!). I've been dropping ads there and a surprising number of his readers seem interested in this game. Thank you for joining the campaign!

My Current Activities
I've been trying to juggle numerous things lately. Campaigning is pretty much a full time job in and of itself, but I'm still trying to get Ian's storyline up to speed (since this game is happening) as well as working my other job (the one that pays the bills.) In other words, I'm as busy as shit! I'll be trying to catch up on emails and messages this weekend.
In any case, I can't wait until you guys play Ian's relationship route. I described a pivotal Ian/Mark scene to my husband today and he was stunned. He doesn't get flustered easily, and this is the first time in my life I've seen his jaw actually drop, his eyes get really, really wide, and gawk at me with absolutely nothing to say.
Finally, he mumbled the five magic words that I love hearing as a writer.
"That. Is. REALLY. FUCKED. UP."
Looking queasy, he added, "Your players will LOVE it though."
Spreading the Word
My thanks to those of you who are getting the word out. It's amazing to see so many people arrive here from so many corners of the web.
If you've just joined us, please help spread the word and encourage people to try the demo. I feel the demo has been doing a good job getting people interested in backing the project. For a while, it seemed that for every 10 of you who downloaded the demo, 1 of you would back the project, which I think is a pretty good ratio! (It's a little more spaced out now...1 in 12. The demo has been downloaded over 5150 times, and we currently have 448 backers!)
Why spread the word when the project is already funded? Remember, 5000 was what I minimally needed to finish the project. The more backers we can get, the more content we can add, and the better the game will be when it gets delivered to you. It will be funner, funnier, hotter, prettier. The more time and resources I can devote to working on the game--the better your overall experience. Seriously--you guys know I've been working tirelessly on this thing. Every cent I can raise is gonna go to making your experience awesome when you play it. XD
And here's a side benefit to the success of this Kickstarter: it will let other game designers know there's a market for games like this one, both as a dating sim and as a game featuring gay relationships.
Thanks for sticking by me, guys. I love and appreciate all your emails and comments.
Here's to an exciting holiday season!
