Whew! 500+ backers!

So.

Gee.

I expected to hit the "slow mid portion" of the campaign right about now, but I guess we're heading right past 500.  I didn't think I'd be making this post until much later.

Before launching this Kickstarter, I'd ask my husband at least once a day, will there be more than 10 people interested in this thing?"

He said for sure!  Maaaaaybe I'd get about 15, even 20 backers!  Realistically, I said I think I'd probably get enough to cover the bare minimum needed to pay for the game's assets, and only over a 50+ day period, and not much more.

Well, you sure showed me.  Amazed and humbled.  Again.  Several of you have invested your time and energy to tell other people about this project.  Word usually gets back to me in some way, shape, or form, and I truly appreciate it.

Ok, I have to head into work now.  I'll be trying to respond to all your comments and emails later tonight.

My only goal for this upcoming year will be to deliver you the most awesome, unforgettable game possible with the resources you've been gracious enough to contribute.

And yeah, it's a game with dudes in it.  Although you're going to have a preference, I think you'll end up loving each and every one of them.*
